Fund Rasing Events
The committee continues to arrange a number of very popular events every year which are designed to raise money and to promote the Church in the community. Most events now include a percentage for other selected charities, typically on a 50/50 basis.
Events in a typical year include the annual '6 Nations Kick-off', the 'Call my Bluff' wine tasing and the Corporate Golf day. The committee are also actively involved in the annual Church fete although the scale of the fete means that it is a 'whole village' event.
In 2014, the committee introduced regular 'Bring and Share' evenings. Although, not strictly 'fundraisers' as there is no charge and therefore the bring and share evenings raise no money but do provide a purely social evening where you can catch-up with friends, meet neighbours and others in the community.
