The latest on 26th November 2004:

The application will be put before the Planning Committee on 30th November 2004. The recommendation is for Approval.  

What does this mean: The planning officers have recommended approval of the application. If the Planning Committee (made up from the elected County Councilors) endorse this recommendation and vote for acceptance then its all over. There is no right of appeal.

You can still made your voice heard by letting the Planning Committee know the strength of feeling in the village. Contact details are below. There is not much time but you can at least send an e-mail (to those who have email addresses).

Note: Graham Down our local County Councilor has confirmed that he remains opposed to the application and that it is his intention to attend the meeting and speak against the proposal.
